my puppy chooses a thin pillow instead of this specialized orthopedic bed. I assume it's about the smell because he scratches the outer part of the bed as if he wants to remove the cover. I've already washed the cover inside for babies, but it didn't help. I hope that over time the smell will dissipate and my dog will sleep well.
XXL 135x100cm. The foam base is 12cm thick and very firm. It does not crush when some weight is applied. It has a very good density. Comes with a very thin cover for the foam base which is understood as waterproof. The filling on the sides can be removed to wash only the outer cover, and it comes packaged in what appears to be good quality material. The density of the side padding is quite good and does not compress with use. The outer cover is quite thick and supposed to be waterproof. The material is a mixture of plastic with warm fur. Being so thick, it makes some noise when the dog walks on it or moves when lying down. I understand that it is normal and that seeing the quality is important. In the area where the dog lies there is a removable fleece base with a zipper. These zippers seem to be of good quality at first glance, but they need to be handled with care. The best orthopedic bed for large dogs I have ever seen. I recommend it!

Big bed, very comfortable for my friend's dogs, who loved it! It arrived very well packaged, although a bit late, but that happened right in the middle of Christmas, so it seemed normal to us. It's worth it.
It's actually good. The fabric has an undercoat that's tough and my dog didn't like it at first, because it makes a strange noise when you step on it, but eventually she realized it's nothing to worry about.

The pillow is very large, so a Kangal has plenty of space on it. It is of very good quality, just as an orthopedic pillow should be.
